Thank you for using Solfile® and taking an interest in privacy! This is our privacy notice. It sets out how People Planet Guide® handles your personal data. If you download/use Solfile®, you agree to this privacy statement which also forms part of our Terms of Use.

What Information Do We Collect?

Information You Give To “Us”

We receive and store any information you give to us, such as when you:

• Download and subscribe to Solfile®. When you sign-in to Solfile®, we gather your basic profile information such as name, email address, date of birth, time of birth and location of birth.

• Enter our competitions.

• Interact with us via social media such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram

• Enter information on our website.

• Purchase our merchandise.

• Subscribe to our newsletters or other information feeds.

• Purchase services through an online store.

• Request technical support, make a compliment or complaint, or otherwise contact us directly; or

• give us your information in another way.

Information from Third Parties

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or us. We do not control how they interact with you and you should ensure that you consent to the terms of use and privacy policies offered by the third-party services before providing them with your information. You acknowledge that we are not liable when third party services use information you provide to them.

We also work with certain business partners, such as API developers and advertising partners, and information collected from you may be shared through these partnerships.

Notice to European Users

Please note that the information you enter on the site or otherwise provide to People Planet Guide®, may be transferred outside of the European Economic Area, for the purposes of processing, by People Planet Guide® a company located in Australia, or authorised partners located worldwide, in order to provide this site and its services to you.  In the case some of our Third-Party service providers are located in U.S.A., you are advised that the United States uses a sectoral model of privacy protection that relies on a mix of legislation, governmental regulation, and self-regulation.  You are further advised that the Council of European has found that this model does not provide “adequate” privacy protections as contemplated by Article 25 of the European’s Data Directive.

When Do We Disclose Information

We may disclose the personal information we hold about you in the following circumstances:

Sometimes we will use your information to tell you about our services and our news, such as new Solfile® features and People Planet Guide® services and events we are running, or merchandise we sell. Consent or Opt-out

How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, subscribe to Solfile®, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

Ways to opt-out of our Services:

• If we send you an email, there will be an unsubscribe link.

• If we post updates via Facebook you can 'unlike' our page, and you will no longer get updates.

• If you receive one of our 'tweets' you can stop following us on Twitter; or

• If we use another type of social media you can opt-out using that service.

Storage, Security & Data Retention

We store information on servers in Australia, United States and the Ukraine.

People Planet Guide® uses a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal data from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. For example, we store the personal data you provide on computer systems that have limited access and are in controlled facilities.

Access, Correction & Deletion

You may request access to your personal information at any time by sending a written request to People Planet Guide, PO Box 440 Ashgrove LPO 4060 Queensland Australia or by emailing support@peopleplanetguide.com.au.

If your information changes; update via our Solfile® App or let us know via support@peopleplanetguide.com.au.  so that we can update our records. If you would like us to de-activate your records that we hold, please tell us. Once de-activated your data will not be accessible. Please note data deletion requests can take up to 30 days for residents of the EEA (European Economic Area).

If you have any concerns or complaints about your privacy, please contact us by:

We will respond to your complaint within a reasonable time after we receive it, provided you supply return contact details. If you do not provide return contact details, we will be unable to respond to your complaint, although we will consider its content.

We will update this Privacy Policy from time to time. These updates will take effect from the date of issue on our website at peopleplanetguide.com.au.  Please check back regularly for updates.

Solfile®

A mobile application for entertainment purposes, owned by People Planet Guide® 

IP Address (Internet Protocol Address)

A unique string of numbers separated by full stops or commas that identifies each computer using the Internet Protocol to communicate over a network. These numbers are usually assigned in geographic blocks.

People Planet Guide® ("us")

People Planet Guide ACN 631 364 602 its assignees, licensees, successors in title and subsidiaries.
